VACANCIES AT PAINT POTS MONTESSORI NURSERY, NOTTING HILL, LONDON

NURSERY MANAGER:

As we open our new Montessori Day Nursery setting, The Grove, in the heart of Notting Hill, Paint Pots Montessori Schools is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic manager to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their career beyond the classroom and into the business side of running a Nursery. Initially this role will be classroom based, building team relationships on the ground and gaining a full understanding of the Paint Pots ethos and every role within this nursery setting. Over the next 2-3 years, as more children enrol and the staff team grows, the role will evolve to be mostly office based.

This varied role includes, teaching, showing parents the nursery, OFSTED responsibilities, team management & HR and Administration such as invoicing parents & record keeping.

With an overview of the whole setting both front of house and behind the scenes this role is the link between the support of the management team and office to the teachers and families in this setting.

Person Specification

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years previous experience within a Montessori nursery. Additional office or administration experience would be ideal. Either the nursery or administration roles must include a minimum of 2 years management experience.
  • You will have excellent written and spoken English and be a good communicator.
  • You will be proficient in computer skills, with a good working knowledge of Office software. Knowledge of SAGE, ACT and My Montessori Child are a bonus.
  • You will have an understanding of SEN teaching (& any SEN experience would be ideal).
